Most people make decisions like that because of relationships, specific interests, climate preferences, cultural preferences, etc. I’d guess you have good ideas about most of these things, and about their importance to you.

Certainly. And that’s bad. And we should try to solve that problem. And we should support people who need help to leave those situations. And so on. But the existence of fringe rural shitholes is not strong evidence of impending death camps.

It really doesn’t even rhyme. A tiny minority of people are trying to fight about bathrooms but are already culturally defeated. Nazi rallies attract 12 sad losers while Queer pride parades shut down major city centers. How is this even a fantasy.
