Dev, dad, dogs. Living in The North - love outdoors. Heads down learning & enjoying building software like I was a teen again with all the fun new AI toys.
Does that mean you’ve been fortunate enough to have great teammates most of your career & have been able to avoid the bad apples?

China and Microsoft have both experimented with ocean data centers which seem more reasonable.

Do you have better luck with files like that format vs simple markdown collections of code samples?

I personally lean towards examples that show code patterns, especially when using newer or less popular things

Have you tried including a sample file of examples?

I’m a firm believer that this is why accent walls were invented.

Fix sheet rock and don’t want to repaint the entire room.

I’m confused. I thought he said this was his last year and he wanted to be on a team that had a shot. Steelers look like a long shot to make the playoffs.

Frozen until I ended the process. I miss Windows 10’s stability. 😤

Idk if either would have done great behind this year’s injury prone offensive line.

I believe both of them have had healthy lines.

I’m really glad to see the Vikings spend money on an offensive line for once. A shame they were all injured.

I’m sorry. I misread your post completely. No more commenting before coffee.

This screams another case of “AI” getting pushed on employees to figure out a use case to impress investors.

I’ve always been a fan of minimalism. Especially when you’re next to a very impressive one. Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s famous one being my favorite.

Funny enough, our sermon today was all about Rahab

Thank you for posting about it. 🙏 I’ll give it a try.

I really like .http files but the assertion part is a pain. Httpyac allows it but the experience wasn’t great. Though maybe that was more my fault and companion tooling choices.

Have you tried other .http test methods? If so is Hurl much more enjoyable?

Microsoft tried this and claimed no changes in temperature. Also decided against continuing it.

Thank you for sending me down this awesome rabbit hole. Love the elves vs dwarves comparison.

Halloween is a great chance to take young kids (if you have them) around your neighborhood & say Hi 👋 to much older folks. Great opportunity to check in, small talk & put smiles on faces.

Also highly encourage dropping off Christmas (and random days) baked items & celebrating May Day with baskets.

Folks that have experience with deterministic automation in (esp. in distributed systems) understand compounding error rates well enough to be very sceptical about throwing non-determinism in that mix.
