It's interesting how in both of King of the Hill's Halloween episodes, Hank and Peggy's mistreatment of Luanne drives her into the arms of people grooming her through emotional manipulation but neither of them seem to apologize or acknowledge what they did wrong.

Thinking of doing some Munsters fanart since I've been enjoying the original show so much. Visually, I'd like to base Eddie and Grandpa on their later iterations because I found them a great way to update them without being overbearing.

I'm halfway through the Ironheart miniseries and I'm finding it really enjoyable. I appreciate how the show allows Riri to be a morally complicated anti-hero who struggles in doing the right thing, it feels refreshing because I feel that some MCU heroes feel generically "nice".

Although Pride Month isn't for a week, I'd like to share my Parks and Rec headcanon of Anne Perkins being a closeted queer woman. All of her het-romances feel so fake and the only person she seems to have any chemistry with is Leslie Knope.

I watched The Great Mouse Detective last weekend and I think Basil is my favourite version of Holmes. He's rude and self-centred, but he's also passionate, kind and socially aware enough to know when to make amends for his negative qualities.

I've been working on putting DC characters in the world of DND and IDK how or why, but Tim Drake feels intrinsically gnome-like. Dick Grayson also feels pretty Bard-ish too (but with the college of dance subclass).

I'm still relatively new to Doctor Who, but does it seem as though the Moffat era valorized a lot of really historically horrible people?

Unfortunately, the show doesn't make her the sort of person who's confident in being a square to the point it's actually pretty cool and endearing, like Bill Green or Fred Jones. Instead, she feels more like just a plus-one guest to everyone else.

Started watching the third season of Parks and Rec and I'm starting to think that the show really had no interest in having Anne around. Compared to the more bombastic personalities of the cast, she's rather vanilla and there's not really much depth to her character or stories.

Spent yesterday morning and this morning watching the Barbie movie. I thought it was generally good, but I also felt that it suffered from a lack of cohesion when it came to its writing, its themes and its characters.
