Later this month marks the 20th anniversary of kicking off the HD era with the launch of Xbox 360. Helping build, ship and launch this console was one of ther most magical professional moments of my career. Here are photos of my launch console.

For as much as I dislike season 2 of TLOU, I dislike all of the shitty, filtered clips with even shittier music dubbed over them I'm seeing from the game even more.

I'm obsessed with the Marathon cinematic short. I've probably watched it a dozen times, at least. Can't get enough of the voice work, the views, the sound design, the music played throughout. I don't know what that game will end up being or doing for me but I'm glad it gave me us this short film.

It's really dumb that all these controllers keep coming out with like nine extra buttons but you can only map them to the existing controller buttons (or, in some cases, macros thereof). Like let me make the back paddle button the Scroll Lock key, let's get nuts.

[Competitive modes]Overwatch gets a ton of flack. And deservedly so. But what Rivals is doing with consistent hard and soft tank resets discourages me entirely. I want nothing to do with reclaiming my rank over and over.

I don't agree with the "it's just quick play" card people like to use to excuse their awful play. Training modes exist for you to go learn in. Not public matches.
