Here's the thought for the day:

We have lost sight of the fact that without bees, soil, dung beetles, worms, clean water and air, one cannot grow food, and without food the economy is nothing.

I agree with this article. Our DNA, merely tells part of the story of a person's character & traits. It can't tell a person's upbringing, life experiences, interactions with the world, the people you meet. We are not born evil, but society can turn people into monsters who do acts of evil.
A TV documentary aims to provide new insight into Adolf Hitler by sequencing his DNA, but the reality is that his genes tell us nothing we didn't already know and the work risks stigmatising other people, says Michael Le Page.
Analysing Hitler's DNA for a TV gimmick tells us nothing useful
To understand Adolf Hitler, we need to look at his personal life and the wider societal and historical context - analysing his DNA for a TV gimmick tells us nothing, says Michael Le Page

The party who claim to be patriots literally had a Reform leadership member caught red handed taking bribes from Russia.

This article details the speeches Nathan Gill gave that he was paid to give.

How are Reform getting away with this?

I know this is old news, but it's not something that has gone away. If you can imagine, that man made products has ended up in the deepest parts of the Ocean, then Man has gone to far. It's time we wake up, to our man made problems & sort our shit out

Today is Czech Independence Day. Vaclav Havel wrote the poem "It is I who must begin"during the Velvet revolution. He then went on to be the first Democratically elected president of the new Republic.

It was his left ear that got shot wasn't it? It has certainly healed up very well, almost like he never got shot at all?
He does have quite a scraggy neck though....

Sometimes it's good to take a closer look at what's down beneath your feet. Get a closer look & see what is at ground level. There's a whole world of life we can easily overlook.

The reason the Right are so invested in the myth that the arts have no value isn’t because the arts don’t generate wealth (they do); it’s that studying the arts teaches people to imagine better ways of judging the value of an idea than by counting how much money it makes…

Been reading Silent Earth, by Dave Goulson. And this graphic shows the impact of cropped seeds dressed with Neonicotinoids can have of the soil & surrounding environment. Only 5% of the insectide is taken up by the crop while 94% is leached into the soil & water. Over time this accumulates.

Before last week I had never heard of Charlie Kirk,
The more I read & hear about him, I learn he wasn't very nice & was a

But before I say anything I will likely
regret.
Charlie Kirk is someone I would sooner forget.
