Played The Quest for El Dorado this afternoon. After coming in dead last in the first game, did much better in the second!
The board game The Quest for El Dorado. The white player is on El Dorado, a full tile and a half ahead of all the other players. They also have all the bonus regions in front of them. Their draw pile and discard pile is in the foreground. There are several scrapped cards tucked under the corner of the player info card.

A City of Calgary plaque is in the foreground. The top of the sign shows an image of a bridge, and the bottom of the sign explains: "The St. George's Island Bridge, constructed in 1908 by the Algoma Steel Company, was the first example of a Parker Camelback truss bridge to be built in Calgary. The through truss bridge design allowed for construction of longer and stronger spans, which played a critical role in Calgary's development during the pre-World War I boom. The design was used in one other crossing of the Bow River and three crossings of the Elbow River. The original truss bridge was replaced in 2017. Glenbow Archives NA-23399-87." I think it might be time to let go of some of my university books. The orange one in particular is wildly out of date now.
