Thought this was really interesting. Heard it on the radio earlier. Definitely tallies with me. I don’t think I properly matured until around about 33ish. Some of my thoughts, behaviours and decisions before that were utterly bizarre!! www.bbc.com/news/article...

Thought this was an interesting discussion on Rogers and Emery’s decision to continue to play him back into form. As normal Unai was proven 100% correct. I tend to feel the same approach is needed with Ollie. Clearly he’s not at it atm but in the absence of an obvious replacement I think we back him

Whenever I pop on social media on a Monday morning, I see lots of Wayne Rooney clips commenting about the weekend. I’m fully respectful of him as a footballer but as a media go to, I don’t get it. Presumably I’m not alone in bypassing his clips!! 😂

Hmmm James Trafford 🤔 I’d be happy if we could do that deal and moving Emi on. I’m not against Emi at all but that would seem a logical evolution in the squad.

Marvellous!! Always happy to beat Leeds.
November 23, 2025 at 4:06 PM
#avfc it’s one of those days again when I look at the table and think 3 pts against Leeds and we’re in a bloody brilliant position. Then I get “the Villa fear”. Knowing that Villa even under Unai can quite easily balls up these moments 😂😂🙏 Come on Villa!!

Whilst I want Wolves to escape relegation, I can’t help a little smile and wonder how Martin on X is coping 😂 Spent most days obsessed over Villa’s financial “armageddon” and predicting a fire sale. Complete clown!! On the other hand HRH was funny and I think he took things in good part generally.

Ahhh Suzi Quattro!!! 👍👍👍

Interesting week at work 😂 I’ve always got on with Japanese colleagues and found them really easy to deal with. Polite, friendly and incredibly hard working. Fallen out with one this week who has really pissed me off. To make it worse I’m really struggling to understand his English so I’m …….

Makes me laugh how the App still tells me “Up Next Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace”. That’s one game I don’t want to relive!! 😂 Also why is our IT generally so poor at Villa? There’s always glitches and seems a bit amateur to me.

Very pleased for Ross Barkley too 👍

This is an important point and wise not to get too far ahead of ourselves yet. The underlying numbers aren’t great but Unai is getting results and building confidence may pull the underlying numbers up.
Emery will know there are things to improve (the underlying numbers haven’t been great & usually do start to tell at some point) but beating Spurs, City & Bournemouth represents an exceptional transformation. The squad was flat in September - there is undeniable belief now #AVFC

I can’t help doing the “what ifs” but if we’d held on against 10 man Sunderland we’d be joint 2nd 🙌🤷🏻‍♂️ Never doubt Unai. UTV

Generally I’m not a fan of smaller clubs in the PL. A lot of them show no ambition, play terrible football and the games against them are to be endured as they simply don’t excite and inspire. But I’ve got to say Bournemouth are the exact opposite of that and I’m really looking forward to tomorrow……

Think Rob Edwards is making a terrible decision if he goes to Wolves. Boro are a good, stable club with a good, loyal chairman. Strong support and are on the up. Sounds a bit like he’s letting his heart rule his head there.

Sweet Jesus, TOTP has had a mare tonight!!! Shocking 😂

Job done. Not an easy watch but just got to get through.
November 6, 2025 at 10:02 PM
#avfc plenty to be encouraged about tonight I thought. Never happy with a loss obviously but I thought it was one of those away games where moments switched the game around. Another day we could have sneaked that goal and put another away on a counter. Those mistakes made it tough.

I’ve actually started looking at the Scottish Prem results now. May actually be an interesting season for a change.

So now there’s relief on Emi Buendia, what on earth is going on with Andres Garcia’s injury? It’s been a long time since he’s been fit for selection.

This is a brilliant interview. We are incredibly lucky to have Unai and also Damian. He is the perfect foil and is essential to Unai’s success. Long may it continue UTV

#avfc must admit I’m getting unnerved by another Liv loss given Villa’s history of helping out teams in desperate need of a win!! Hopefully Unai has banished that part of our psyche and we can pile on the agony for Slot.
