Good write up on these! I'm personally struggling with whether to stick with my RSS reader (Reeder Classic) or totally move over to the new Reeder. I feel bad leaving Feedbin behind and not paying for that, but I don't think paying for both is necessary.

Wired CarPlay ended up being iffy on that when I wasn't playing audio. I ended up using Toolbox Pro with an automation to set/update a global variable when CarPlay connects or disconnects, and then checking the value of that variable in my Action Button shortcut to know if I'm connected.

I have an older Sonos Play 3 that doesn't support AirPlay. The app is unusable 50% of the time for me with the older speaker, unfortunately. Sometimes it says I don't have any speakers, sometimes it just doesn't respond to changes. I was going to upgrade and buy more, but no confidence now.
