Taking this bridge and the route by the water down to Muiderslot is one of the nicest day trips from Amsterdam. It can be easily done with an old 'omafiets' as we did with my wife:

When I was working on Displaced LP, I set up my gear and synthesizers, so I'd have to sit on the floor. It was uncomfortable, but that was by design. I wanted to force myself to focus on one thing at a time. I'd work in short bursts—30 to 45 minutes.
