We have a couple super spooky houses on our block and a very walkable neighborhood, so everyone on the edges of our small town descend on us. Our kid has learned to go a couple blocks over because it’s less crowded so more likely to get full-sized candy.

Yeah, our British friends only started to get a sense of scale when we showed them that Great Britain is approx California sized.
