Running away from real life for the week. Gonna read, craft, nap, watch the water drift by, and ignore the news for a while.

Tfw you hear crinkling plastic noise from the direction of the present detritus and fear a cat is eating a plastic bag you failed to clean up. Thankfully, she’s just rolling around with a cat toy amongst the teen’s gifts.

Agatha is not frightened of the new creature in the house, but also won’t stay lounging on comfy blankets when it’s right next to her.

Day 3: Apple-Quince-Honey Spread. Quite nice but bordering on too sweet to me. The chunks of fruit surprised me, but weren’t too distracting. #jamvent

We voted! And picked a variety of stickers to bring home 😊 (The lighthouse was a local HS student’s entry in the sticker contest.)

Agatha was being ever so helpful for my own work earlier.
Agatha, a calico tabby cat, is lounging on the table against my right arm as I try to edit a math handout on my laptop. Her front paw is just close enough to the trackpad to occasionally tap it and interfere more directly with my work.
