Composite functions anyone? I like to share this one each time I use it. Here's a dynamic version on @geogebra.org

When did this happen?! @desmos.com . Finally, and it looks so nice too :)

The claim of 30000 combinations in Cold Rock Ice Cream doesn't feel like a lot, does it? Anyone want to do the combinations for me?! I wonder where that comes from. 6CR is already 38760. #MathsToday

In #mathatoday I read @kityates.bsky.social and the kiddo was introduced to decimal numbers at the pool depth. He stood at what we assumed was 1.6m (another linear scale Kit)!

On LinkedIn I shared a project for our project week. Plat Diviseur. Applied mathematics at a moment of expertise, the students can measure angles and divide and therefore in year 8 they put these skills into practice (with a little about constructions too)

Wow. He's trying to draw arrays in the mirror. 😍 #mathstoday

It's used in IB, this is a question from 2021.

Family fun. Sometimes I wonder if I am cheating the system. What about the kids who arrive at school who haven't played with mathematics very much?

Do I contribute to a disparity and raising of an artificial bar? With time being squeezed at schools, how can we promote more of this home?

In #mathstoday we will be looking at stats tests. This will be my starting point.

Building a fort with the kiddo and stopped to take a photo for #IBMaths students exploration ideas. Thinking about the angles required in those joints.

www.geogebra.org/calculator/s... @GeoGebra version of this one from@corbettmaths.bsky.social. I'm not happy with the way I changed both the angle and side at the same time. My Friday brain not working out the logic to separate it!

For graphical thinking, sometime shortly having done the quadratic discriminant I like to give a question similar to this.

Determine k such that f(x) =k has 0,1,2 sols.

Ignore me though if it's slightly off track, or you have something similar. This was IB exam Q inspired too

And this, it comes on the back of similar work to yours I have for functions at IBDP.l, as we move to composiye functions. We get these tables in exam Qs (with derivatives too).

Like it. In case this is of interest at some point, I'll leave it here.
