Will rounding up/down even matter for credit/debit cards? It seems like cash would be the only instance where pennies might exchange hands.

On the other hand, perhaps it doesn’t make sense to have different rules for cash.

That’s probably why he had someone ghost-write his books for him. He doesn’t actually need to write it because no real person will read and appreciate it, but the fantasy of having written it makes it real to him and to us (in his mind).

Let me get this straight. There was a vote over the weekend and it didn’t pass. 8 Democrats then signaled they would vote yes, but we have to wait until Friday for the vote to open the government? What’s the hidden calculus here?

When I walked out of the voting area with my kids, I felt I did something (small) to protect our democracy even though my vote didn’t affect the outcome of this local election. I hope that a large turnout will show citizen engagement and interest in retaining free and fair elections

To clarify, that’s not the ONLY problem with lying. Obviously, one shouldn’t lie because it is wrong.
