Writer/designer working on various things. Humanist. I guess I have some stuff to get off my chest.
Mind you, I don't think JAGs are incapable. I just think that's not their job and they aren't prepared and the Trump admin has shown no sign of taking time to prepare for anything, so I assume they'd be thrown into a court and told to go.

Huh. Just remembering my JAG officer from my separation and thinking what, in essence, a public defender on a mandatory stint to make good on their college being covered, might possibly have to learn to assume this position... Seems like a tall order. Maybe I'm just salty. Get it? (Navy jokes.)

My kid was in Scouts until it became apparent that actually having a spine as a kid was frowned upon. Standing up to bullying from an adult was rewarded with him being branded with "behavioral problems" (He told a piece of shit they were a piece of shit...) At least he won't grow up to be a Nazi.

And even when they do, my experience is that there are so many awful behaviors inherent in the system you're better off not having your kid in. Pulled mine and he's playing hockey instead. MUCH better environment.

He should absolutely never be president. We can do far better.

But he should continue to shit talk Trump, now and forever. And he should be just as obnoxious as Texas politicians about redistricting. And keep highlighting the absurdity of how Trump acts.

Because someone should take that role.

Ivan Van Norman didn't fall off a turnip truck. He knows OGL vs ORC vs CC and CR knows they sealed IP behind Protected Content that is equivalent to the stuff they used from Paizo/WotC on stream to make millions...

There are a significant number of people so enamoured of the game itself that they're attributing simple "oopsies" and "good intent" to Darrington/CritRole when LAWYERS COST MONEY and THEY KNOW WHAT THEY DID.

The work you did on the rulebook read was exemplary. I read it in a compiled blog form rather than here on bsky (much easier) but it was really quite enjoyable.

The license thing is controversial. Plenty of mixed opinions. If you do get to it, you'll have dissent no matter how you come out. 🤣

The fight is now, not the next election. There won't be a next election winnable without them fighting now. Not confirming nominees and tut gutting while whining about stupid things while the literal destruction of America is ongoing.

We thought we solved this in 1776. And 1812. And 1866. And 1945.

My daughter's reaction when she realized what direct action would mean.

You can't stop that level of fashion. It is a juggernaut.

Amazing. Just when I thought it couldn't get any dumber it turns out he's a meteorologist who voted for the guy whole pulled out of the Paris Accords not once but twice...

Fan of all writers. Love audiobooks. From a cognitive standpoint, they don't replace words on the page for building your knowledge of the language. They're fantastic and engaging but for sure words on the page should be in the mix as well. ❤️ (No joke that Americans in particular need work here.)
