Writer/designer working on various things. Humanist. I guess I have some stuff to get off my chest.
16+ years on Facebook and they can't even manage to handle the relatively mundane occurence of losing access to an authenticator (do they think we keep phones forever?)... it was a garbage platform, of course, so they're probably doing me a favor by not responding to my automated "video selfie"...

The same people who cry tyranny when you suggest perhaps registering guns with the government is a good plan elected the folks who are busy building a comprehensive database of information about every single American...and yeah, that's going to include gun ownership because they share it on socials.

Christians worried about Jesus looking bad because of MAGA: Christ would absolutely care far more about doing the work and far less about getting the credit. If Christianity died and was forgotten as a religion but the teachings lived on as a prevailing philosophy and core of society, Christ wins.

Apropos of nothing, if you have not locked/frozen your credit with the agencies you might want to.

Twitter is not a success. It's worse than before Apartheid Andy took over. Trying to Quit/Fire federal workers like he did at Twitter is only going to make everything worse. We do not need a government that is cheaper and far worse any more than anyone needed a Twitter that might barely break even.

Just got back from the store. Unsurprised to see that the laundry list of grievances Orange Shitler signed did nothing for the price of eggs. Huh. It's like he was lying the whole time or something.

Me: what Dat Tesla do?
Dat Tesla: ignores a dozen parking spots and pulls up into the handicapped spot to drop kids off to a gym class that doesn't even start for another 5 minutes.

open.substack.com/pub/spoonamo... worth reading. I'm a low level election worker in my county and not an expert but hinky is definitely what I have used to describe the results since.

His posts, it added, “can have real-world consequences."

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.

I spent my childhood behind barbed wire. My parents lost everything. 1/

I work for the county Registrar of Voters during elections. My job involves a lot of hours in a small amount of time. It also came down to me running through vote centers delivering supplies on election day. Not going to lie. The result feels an awful lot like blowing my knees out for nothing.

First post on bsky. Used to have thousands of posts on the other site but left when it was changing hands.

I'm a writer and game designer. A humanist. Wife, 2 kids, 3 cats, a dog, and I live in SoCal... and like it.

A Navy Veteran and probably more politically left than most people you know.
