Finally got my copy of @rosemarymosco.com’s The Birding Dictionary.
Loving it so far, a great couch read, and breakfast book.
Funny and informative; my favourite kind.

Hmmmm, not that convinced that OpenAI's GPT-5 is that much of a leap:

Mothers Day gift.

I am far from the vainest man in the world, but made a bust of myself as a joke for Christmas, and my mum was very jealous. So along with amazing help from my artist wife I cobbled together another one last weekend

Hey #Birds check out my wife's art.
As with many people. she started this hobby during COVID. Primarily focuses on wildlife, and as biased as I may be, I absolutely love her bird paintings.

One of my favourites: the Eastern Spinebill

If you want to get an idea of how impressive the Canadian Liberal Party's victory in the latest election is, just look at how they were polling leading up to this before Trump 'Trumped' it all up for the conservatives:

Trypophobia is "an aversion to the sight of repetitive patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps", and apparently may affect around 16% of the population.
Curious to know if anyoen here experiences this?

Boo Netflix! Don’t try and act as if you are saving me money by reverting me to a plan with ads.
No one wants ads. Ever. Ads are a bane on society.
Streaming was meant to be a way out of the hellhole of ads on regular TV.

If people want to claim that it should be Gulf of America because most of the coastline belongs to the United States, then Canada should be the country that claims the moniker 'America' instead of the United States, as it has more of the American continent than anyone else.

@rosemarymosco.com your Pigeon book looks great, but on the Hachette Book Group website it doesnt display the name for some reason:

It's strange how I have an innate wariness of spiders, but not jumping spiders.
I mean look at this little guy! Waving their little mouth parts around, and jumping from finger to finger; who doesn't find them adorable!
Plus they hunt other spiders in your house, and are intelligent problem solvers.

When I search for this on Amazon, the default format is an mp3 CD.

Is this trying to target my nostalgia in some weird way?
