Tried Mary Berry’s Floating Islands. So much technical fun. Poaching meringue is a real skill. Ours is not yet ready for Paul’s steely blue eyes, but it was fun. Even our middling results were delicious.

Thanksgiving fun has begun with the basics: veggie broth for stuffing and pickled red onions for cheeseboard and salad. 🍽️
