Like Angela Bassett, I did the thing. I am knackered but yesterday morning I heard a group of 10 children screaming with excitement and suddenly everything was worth it.

A reminder that land doesn't vote. "Texas" is not an entity and I'm glad our government is not taking things to that level of abstraction. Texas is inhabited by people and help shouldn't be transactional.

So, apropos nothing, here's my favourite anti-nazi propaganda that Mexico produced as it joined WW2. "Knowledge would corrupt my youth, -A. H." is a poster showing a nazi soldier burning culture, schools and libraries. Produced by Santos Balmori and commissioned by the Secretary of Public Education.

The Gulf of America is now the name for the northern portion of the Gulf of Mexico which sits on the Mexico Basin. Now is the time to be as pedantic as you can and journalists are dropping the ball. Sheinbaum already explained this in her morning press conference.

Off the coast of the US there is a platform of 200 m depth that has the Texas-Louisiana shelf, the Florida shelf, which extent southwards down the Mexico coast as the East Mexico Shelf and around the Yucatán Península as the Campeche Bank. The shelf is followed by an Escarpment that reaches up to 2000 m that on the north is called the Sigsbee Escarpment and in the south is called Campeche Escarpment. The whole body of water sits on the Mexico Basin, with a depth of 4376 m.

Surprise: Universal Studios helped fund banning abortion and has given a lot of money to Republicans.

We're in the accepting phase that AI is a scam. The FAQ in Gemini has a section in "hallucinations" and have this sentence " but basically double-check Gemini’s responses."

Why use this tool to begin with!? Just to consume water and electrictiy for the sake of consuming water and electricity?
What do AI hallucinations look like? AI hallucinations, or this made-up info, could be things like: Made-up facts. 'Cats are actually canines – like dogs.' (That’s not true! They’re felines.) Made-up people. 'The first person to walk on Mars was Sundar Pichai.' (No human has been to Mars yet!) Statistics. '47% of all statistics are made up.' (No one could know that!) Or any type of info really! What can I do about AI hallucinations? There’s more about this in another question (Why can Gemini get things wrong?), but basically double-check Gemini’s responses.
