Sounds like a very non-frustrating day

I think that’s one of my biggest struggles right now haha

I actually don’t know it, need to check it out!

I completely agree with your points! A big challenge is figuring out how to set up the moving target so you can measure if it was a hit or not!

Also what is a big codebase, which measurement do you take? LoC? Cyclomatic Complexity? Hmm.....

But to the original point, try it out and build it! Tinkering is the best part of creating software

Exactly! If they would try out they would see that "simple real-world NodeJS" is very vague to test against. What is simple, what is real-world?

I'm very curious as to what the test benchmark would be.

And then you can't remember the name of the song, so you go full sherlock holmes just to hear that chorus

Makes complete sense!!

Could you somehow A/B test it? Or maybe do a trial run for week and see what happens with conversions!

I would say blue; the dev/design tooling domain is all about blue! It creates brand trust because it is a known color in other products (think Tailwind, VScode, Docker, Framer).

I have this urge, but never follow it because it means I won’t have a working PC for months.

I just keep on reinstalling distros whenever I stumble on a new one 😅
