I think something similar will occur with tech jobs in 5-10 years for Gen Y.

Always fun. Picked up an M4 Air myself.

Noble for sure but are you sure this is a wise choice?

$400 diff between the Pro and the Air.

0.8 inches of screen, ProMotion, Extra Port and better battery life.

Only con is the extra weight.

Can't say I know many young people who listen to podcasts, my kids hate them 😂

But the younger people I know who use YT for music and podcasts don't watch it either. It's just their portal to the content.

I'm a 100% audio guy. Don't understand why you would want to watch people talk.

No MagSafe is a deal killer for me.

Right around the corner...

Still early days but response has been lackluster thus far.

For sure, it will be interesting to see if Tobi gets pressured by employees internally.

Will also be interesting to see how american companies operating in Canada respond to this as well.

CAD will likely tank after this. If you add tariffs on top, it will change prices significantly.

Canonical (Ubuntu) is British.

I'm not there yet for my personal stuff but that's a good point.

Was more referring to Canadian orgs.

Make me think of this: world.hey.com/dhh/we-have-...

But even here, they used Dell servers. Only viable non American alternative is Lenovo AFAIK.

Canada will never have appetite to merge. I think the plan is an economic war of attrition.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around all the nth order consequences of this.

i.e. Are Canadian companies going to start to exit cloud? etc
