Can someone on Bluesky reassure me that I'm not the only person who can't see a bottle of sweet chilli sauce without breaking into Guns n Roses.

(It's been a very long standing issue at home... And in supermarkets)

Best use of a Bluesky thread ever here by one of my local museums
On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,

"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"

Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

If someone made a browser extension that warned you when a retailer uses Evri I'd install that in a heartbeat.

I just had a very unexpected innuendo laden encounter with a delivery guy after commenting on the unexpected size of the package he delivered 😲

My new favourite noise is the back and forth pecking between the two woodpeckers that have set up home in the trees outside my home office.

Step 1 of these instructions to build a bench seems to be "1. build a bench"

Sorry Donald. We can't send you eggs. We're stockpiling them for your visit

I'm currently waiting in for a rag'n'bone man to arrive. Apparently I'm now Dickensian.

It's that weird season in the UK where you walk down the street and pass two people in flip-flops and shorts followed immediately by one in a puffer jacket and a knitted beanie

Oh, the fun of being in your 50s. I somehow just managed to put my back out and send myself into writhing agony by operating a kitchen tap.

If anyone wants me I'll be laying on the living room floor

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Does anyone else put fruit & veg on top of the food in the fridge to hide it from their ravenous teenage son?

People seemed to enjoy the beach photo I shared here the other day, so I thought I'd share another.

This one is the beautiful West Wittering Beach, photographed on a warm sunny February walk with Mrs B last Monday.

Beautiful on our little stretch of beach today. Warm sun and soft breaking waves. All without the summer crowds

Any Bluesky geeks out there, or in fact anyone who wants to share an opinion.

I'm getting back into photography, and thinking about using Bluesky for my photo sharing.

Would it be best to use a separate dedicated account for this, or my main one? Anyone have opinions either way?

May you all be blessed with the confidence of the total stranger just addressed me as Peter and continued to do so after I had told him I wasn't Peter for the third time

It's the first week of march and I'm mowing the lawn in a t-shirt.

I'm going to try not to ponder the long term implications of this whilst just enjoying some welcome sun and warmth

Episode 7 of Paradise just went surprisingly hard for a show I thought was going to be streaming filler.

Well worth a watch

I love that my eldest inherited my awesome taste in music and we get to do things like this together.
Jack White has been a dream gig for me for a while, and it was absolutely worth waiting for

I had a birthday beach walk yesterday along the beautiful beaches of West Witterings and East Head.
It was so nice to be out in the sunshine, walking without bedding a coat. Spring is coming

I find it very strange when TV programmes start using very visible podcast mics, when TV has worked without them for decades.

I've bought a new phone and for some reason the LinkedIn app won't work on it.

This feels like the greatest undocumented feature.
