I get the intention of the ban - but the reality of it isn't going to solve many problems

Daily Mail readers are (I suspect) born to be periodically angry that someone somewhere might be enjoying life more than they are. Hence they love ideas like banning books in prisons and keeping lockdowns going after COVID.

1. This is going to turn into absolute chaos.
2. Why are they doing it before the ban starts?
3. Why can't they just lock / make private the accounts rather than deleting them?

High end art market price inflation is insane.
In 1985, the then most expensive Artwork sold was Andrea Mantegna's Adoration of the Magi for $12 million.
What else has gone up by 2,000% in 40 years?

The ones who didn't.
Most 2015 labour voters didn't vote for Brexit.

They took a heap of their core voters for granted over Brexit and totally ignored their wishes. They're doing the same again. People will stop buying into this at some point.

I feel like these people are always projecting, because they would be wasting the money on pet projects if they were in charge, so assume others will do exactly the same.

I'm wondering how much this has evolved as a product of charities that used to collect loose change in boxes having to adapt to a world where people mostly don't have loose change.
