A second dog doesn't help with that? My little guy would have been impossible through puppyhood and adolescence, but his greyhound snooze gene seems to have kicked in around two and he'll chill for hours now

The more I look at your account, the more wary I am of the whole way the event runs. I'm not even sure untrained volunteer "security" should be doing bag searches, when real SIA guys are right there, but for them to assume the power to detain people too? Crazy stuff

I've seen two broad categories of response from Yorp people - some flatly deny any conflict exists and claim stories like the above are some sort of co-ordinated deep state wrecking tactic. The others are firmly team Corbyn and expect Sultana to acquiesce for the good of the party.

Yeah, I was sad I missed the first one, but with all this and their response (or lack of), I just don't feel I can support it. On paper it's spot-on the sort of event I wanted to see happening too, especially as I'd love to find some performing opportunities and just can't afford most cons.

Yeah, I'm sure he doesn't like that either, the only correct response is breathless admiration of his bold and selfless work as saviour of the fandom, or something like that.

He did a little spree when that true crime show came out, blocking anyone who expressed even quite mild criticism or doubt about it, even if they didn't mention him directly. Likely that?

I'm regrettably acquainted with some grassroots Your Party sorts on other social media, they're very focused on attacking Polanski and the Greens too, it's depressing to see.

I'm still slightly in awe of my bandmate's Temu jacket with MLUITULTUBF in big letters down the front. It's like having a stroke in SportsDirect

I hate it, like, videos of animals being silly little guys seemed like one of the last straightforward pleasures.

I didn't even know we were doing that sort of thing in the UK, I know the US has some

We've had a few locally who declare themselves ex-furries, but continue to be in furry groups telling us why they're better than furries.

I had that with "do you love the eBay app?". It functions, I've no major complaints, but who feels love for it?

Ferrets too

Makes me think of this old Scottish TV advert.

Yeah, when I was quite a bit younger I'm pretty sure a spell of weekend psilocybin use was a factor in making sense of a stressful period in my life and finding some creativity out of it, and I feel like I was managing my depressive tendency better than I did later on without that.

Unfortunately some friends of friends on other platforms have gone with the new Your Party, it's almost scary how quickly they've rationalised that anyone having honest doubts about their movement can be dismissed as a hired troll/bot, agency psy-ops, or in thrall to an unspecified "them".

Is the "tragic situation" that a high profile figure is facing consequences for noncery?
November 3, 2025 at 9:35 AM
Yeah, I suspect that's it, it's read the short horizontal black and white stripes on a black object as piano accordion keys

I can deal with Pavement, I've revisited them just recently because I caught a bit of an old BBC session on the radio and hadn't heard anything that wilfully ramshackle in a while.
Oasis, absolutely not.
