The only reasons I can think of to subject 100% affordable housing to prevailing wage but not everything else is 100% affordable housing projects are basically graft for non profits and unions, it makes no sense otherwise.

There was a live debate over bombing auschwitz or the supply lines at the time, but it was rejected because (a) would kill the prisoners, (b) the nazis could blame allies for the deaths & win on propaganda and (3) admin prioritized winning the war faster over all else.

Democrats should be running on mandatory employer e-verify and a pathway to citizenship. E-Verify with no agricultural exceptions is something he can't do with fracturing his coalition or opening up a pathway.

This won't be popular here but democrats shouldn't be fighting the idea of defending USAID. Instead they should turn it from a foreign aid fight to a healthcare fight by putting out a bill to take the $40B in USAID appropriation and pay for Medicaid vision coverage for Americans.
