COVID causes brain damage. The evidence is robust. It increases risk for Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Parkinson's. It shrinks the brain, it can age the brain by decades; the more infections someone gets, the greater these risks increase.

COVID isn't seasonal. Unlike the flu and common cold, COVID-19 can surge in summer, as seen with the current NB.1.8.1 variant--the NIMBUS variant. Travel, decreased immunity, higher CO2 levels, and warmer temperatures driving people indoors all contribute to increased COVID cases in Summer.

St. Louis, Missouri was hit by a mile-wide EF-3 tornado on Friday, May 16. While wealthy white areas of St. Louis already have power restored, Black St. Louisians are still in the dark, and many are without shelter. Mask Bloc Denver stands with St. Louis.
