St. Louis, Missouri was hit by a mile-wide EF-3 tornado on Friday, May 16. While wealthy white areas of St. Louis already have power restored, Black St. Louisians are still in the dark, and many are without shelter. Mask Bloc Denver stands with St. Louis. The ongoing Covid pandemic is an intersectional justice issue. Oppressed peoples are disproportionately harmed. Masking shows an ethic of intersectional justice. Not masking shows no such ethic. Choosing not to mask is to ignore oppressed peoples.
