Politics and poo, because I like beating Tories and I have crohn's (and arthritis and fibromyalgia and pompholyx and basically just a very overactive immune system).
I worked (part time, from home) for a year. I loved the work, but I developed 3 new symptoms of autoimmune disease (for which I am still waiting hospital appointments.
Work does not solve everything

I was also non consensually groped by:
The pantomime dame in my am dram when I was 14 (I mean he was dressed up as a woman but was totally a cis man)
The guy running a narrowboat charity for teenagers whilst teaching me to steer
My first boss in a pub in London.

I was once groped by a trans woman in the toilets of MGM nightclub in Nottingham in the 90’s. With my full consent though and she was super hot.

Or the purchase of newspapers to read on the train?

I think of it as like my obstetric cholestasis. The genetic propensity to it was always there, but it didn’t come to fruition until I got pregnant.
(And the result of the illness was worth suffering it)

Coming back to this to ask if you have tickets to Fresh Art Fair this weekend at Ally Pally and if not would you like?

Even better tip - get onto the mailing list of an out of London gallery. I get freebie tickets offered from galleries in Cambridge, Suffolk and Cornwall every year well in advance

At least 8 kids in her class of 20 at private ex-grammar school were similarly dyslexic/dyspraxic/autistic and above average IQ. Wonderful weirdos the lot of them

Yep.
At 7 my daughter had reading age of 3, maths age of 12+ and state school said no need (or capacity) to help her. Private school got her remedial help and more importantly made her feel happy at school. She also got extra time which compensated for her slow reading speed (in all subjects)

He was my second ever crush (via whose line is it anyway) after I grew out of Tim Curry (worst witch) and before I discovered Tim Curry (Rocky horror show). Just SO clever

And you aren’t meant to wind up parliamentarians? Oops. Was not aware of that rule
(Also, mark is a parliamentarian now isn’t he? Genuinely don’t know if he has to do some sort of process first?)

I did once refer to him as a self serving twat. In a message to him.
I think he’s forgiven me (and to be pedantic it was during a brief period when I was not actually a member)

Or their journey to LibDems in a seat where they are the challengers to Tories.
Left/centre people seem far more willing to vote tactically

Oh I’m well up for this. No problem appearing on stage as long as I don’t have to speak, and very happy to be scary

Channels my amazing therapist: Hmm. It’s interesting that you read better *at* relationships when I wrote better *in* relationships.

Seriously- I hope this is as transformative for you as it has been for me.

It is. But it gets better. And you don’t HAVE to talk about your feelings. You can just learn to feel ok about being in a relationship with your therapist, and use that to make you better at being ok in relationships with other people. And when that happens, life gets better
