My mini landscapes book is finished. Only had one hiccup where I sewed one bit upside down and had to unpick.
A textile slot book made up of pages of mini landscapes. The landscapes are made using scraps of different fabrics sewn together.

Cushion is finished!
Cushion made with a simple embroidery of a hen, chick and three eggs using backstitch, running stitch and French knots. The embroidery is bordered with bands of blue floral and yellow spotted material.

Sewed borders on my mini landscapes. Now I need to make them into a fabric book.

Second craft of the day, some weaving on a piece of slate from the garden. The wool is one I picked up from the charity shop which was a nice find.

Made myself a little at journal today.

In an effort to keep my hands busy so I can't doom scroll I did this simple embroidery. It'll probably end up as a cushion.

Had a walk up to the Devils Pulpit this afternoon.

On Friday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Nutmeg. She gave us more than 15 years of love and joy. I'm going to miss my little fuzzy friend so much.

Our old dog had started to really pick at her food and was losing weight so I changed the brand. She loves the new food. I've been mixing it with the old to use it up but she's really not impressed with that

Went down to Newnham last week and took a few photos of the river whilst I was there.
A view of the River Severn. There are dramatic looking clouds and blue sky above. The water is very still and you can see the reflection of the sky in it. In the foreground there is a strip of grass and you can see trees and shrubs along the opposite bank.

Today I had a go at bundle dying and I'm pleased with the result. This was basically a kit so the silk scarf was pre mordanted and it came with a selection of dried flowers and petals. I added ripped up onion skins. I now need to gather some of my own flowers and petals to try.
