100 percent support this big idea. Multi-generational housing can bring support to seniors and young people, building community. Thanks for always thinking big!!
The commissioners, along with a few neighbors who spoke in opposition to the Gordons’ request at the meeting, seemed most concerned about the wide range of retail uses permitted by residential mixed-use zoning.

This has been more than a decade in the making. Can’t wait for Smoky Hollow Park and a beautiful gateway into our downtown…And a wonderful amenity for the most densely populated area of our city.
Council authorized the selection of Clancy & Theys Construction Co. to be the Construction Manager at Risk for the Smoky Hollow Park Project, a new 13.7-acre park located north of downtown at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Peace Street: go.boarddocs.com/nc/raleigh/B.... | #Raleigh

Watching this made me sick. Saying he supports police but pardons the Jan. 6 cop beaters. WTH?

Ripken the Bat Dog. You were the best boy. You brought joy to NC sports. And you are missed. Sending love to your family. And thank you Carolina Hurricanes for honoring him at last night’s game.

Yes, please.
Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

ALL ROAD USERS.

And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.
