In the early 1960s, Walt Disney carried the torch of one of humanity's oldest pursuits, the search for mechanical life. The result was Audio-Animatronics, a new breed of robots that would soon populate the world. Watch Disney's Animatronics: A Living History now.

When you operate a motor vehicle, the most important thing isn't finding parking, but making sure that you don't kill anyone. Safe bike infrastructure helps you do that.
You don’t have to be a “cyclist” to support safe bike infrastructure in your city. You don’t have to ride bikes at all. You just have to understand the FACT that bike infrastructure makes getting around easier & safer for EVERYONE, saves us all public money, & makes cities generally more successful.

Well this is chilling —

It was predictable that Trump would deny the results of the 2020 election. It was predictable that his Big Lie would change American politics...It is predictable that, in returning to power, he will seek to change the system so that he can remain in power until death.
What Does It Mean That Donald Trump Is a Fascist?
Trump takes the tools of dictators and adapts them for the Internet. We should expect him to try to cling to power until death, and create a cult of January 6th martyrs.

To justify legalizing bump stocks, Clarence Thomas literally copied and pasted materials from an extremist pro-gun group whose violent rhetoric makes the NRA look moderate.

This is who has the Supreme Court's ear these days. slate.com/news-and-pol...
The Group Helping the Supreme Court Rewrite America’s Gun Laws Is Worse Than the NRA
I don’t think that’s anything you could imagine happening even 10 years ago.

There’s people already claiming they won’t hop on Bluesky now that it’s going public. Honestly I don’t mind that, we don’t need negative people on here

One aspect of the Univision controversy that has gone unnoticed or unmentioned is that Univision is often one of the few, or the only, Spanish-speaking channels offering local news. This becomes concerning when they portray figures like trump as harmless.

Green Day pit tickets are going for $500 now at the same venue where I only paid $40 for the exact same general admission area back in high school. I’m kinda disgusted and feel for kids who probably won’t have the same opportunity I had back in high school to see them.
