Video games, film, and TV aren't to blame, but they sure ain't helping. The way guns and gun violence has been fetishized through these mediums has definitely affected the way we react to these tragedies, and act (or don't act) afterwards. We have been desensitized.

It is absolutely a big part of the reason. They believe bigotry is simply a disagreement, racism is just a different perspective. America as a whole told them they are no longer outcasts. One of their own got elected president, twice! So, they truly don’t understand why you don’t like them.

Loved the special! I think its the first one where you triumphed with all three aspects: content, wardrobe, and venue (gorgeous stage!).
