7% incapable of interacting with a human being. Trained to believe the only good relationship is one that never challenges them, that they control, one that involves no one else, one where they are alone.
It is possible that the relationship recession will not correct itself. A striking 7% of singletons say they would consider a robo-romance with an AI companion.

A world of misery. You learn how bad it all is, how long it has been that way, and worst of all, how many good people were never good at all. Strive to be good, to yourself and others.

Focus on the real, physical world. Come here to find out where to go and what to do and who to do it with in the real physical world. The saying was once "words are wind" but here, they aren't even that.

Please do pay attention to the numbers. If you want 10s of millions of people in the streets, when has that happened EVER in the history of this country? What would it take to actually make that possible? [You do not need to answer this question here]
If 7-9 million participate in a single-day mobilization in a country of almost 350 million people (260 million over 18 years old) and this was probably the largest mobilization in the US, then you begin to understand what we're confronting.

Since yesterday, we can’t stay in our tent anymore. It’s flooded with rain, soaked with water, and freezing cold. Children are shivering with no warmth. Odai, injured by a quadcopter, urgently needs treatment and a warm shelter. Please help us find safety and warmth. 💔🙏

The cops shot and killed an activist during STOP COP CITY and then the state criminalized the protesters for indicting over 60 people on RICO charges... THAT IS STILL HAPPENING NOW. Those charges have not been dismissed. The first trials are underway.

We condemn the scandalous US visa ban on former EU Commisioner Breton and digital activists. Protecting democracy isn’t censorship. ✋🏼

Disinformation isn’t free speech. Europe won’t take lessons from those undermining democracy and free speech.

Donald Trump Lied Again saying that Democrats are demanding ACA premiums be raised, not Republicans.

HR 1 Cut Medicaid, ACA on purpose. Republicans proposed it, voted for it, shut Dems out of it, and now want to skirt responsibility for it?

This lie is so blatant, it's breathtaking.

The white guys regularly shooting up churches, schools, malls, movie theaters etc... are not *terrorists* and there are no calls to deport them and their families. Interesting.

We're all supposed to be 100% in tune with white men's feelings. We're supposed to care about them at the expense of our own. We are supposed to live in fear of them getting upset. Treating their feelings as grenades that can go off at any time. They on the other hand do not need to care about ours.

The Trump administration is proposing to almost double what’s considered safe exposure levels to formaldehyde, a cancer-causing chemical found in many consumer products, as part of a broader overhaul of its approach to regulating carcinogens.

A draft memo from the E.P.A. assumes a safe threshold exists for formaldehyde, upending earlier findings that there is no safe level of exposure to the carcinogen.

It's weird to come here and see what's trending be a bunch of nonsense. We are in a crisis, and people will say so, but not act accordingly. I'm confused by this, and willing to admit that I'm inexperienced in the arena of protest, resistance, and activism. Someone help me understand.

What action do we take? I'm asking all the people with bona fides. People with experience, knowledge, resources and leverage. What do we have to do to stop out country's murder and lawlessness before it escalated even further into outright war? What are the practical steps?

I used to enjoy late night monologues. I used to watch Last Week Tonight and think it made sense to deliver serious topics with humor - spoonful of sugar, right? But now, it seems ghoulish to see people dressed up in million dollar studios recording the laugh track for our collapse.
