Just a man exploring creative thought and human behaviours to help make the world easier to navigate.
Low level awareness exists but as there is little consequence for our day to day living I’d say most people are like me and don’t ever think about it.

Why can’t we have anything nice? This sort of thing really annoys me, what sort of dopamine hit does someone get from being horrible with no purpose?

Arguably the most inclusive of all art forms

I love the aside of being an honorary letter here. It made me think about how I show up as someone who hopes to be seen as an ally. I like the plus part as it marks out LGBTQIA+ as the most inclusive grouping in human history. I can’t think of anything more inclusive than a +.

I have a theory that once you mention ear worms that you have to other people they become viral so thanks for being patient zero on the Achaemenid virus.

I note the fork is in both photos. A little needy of attention. I’ll expect it to launch it’s own cutlery focussed podcast before too long.

I seem to remember him being in the Noel Clarke movie Brotherhood. Would that not count as an acting role?

Some of us are planning ways to make this a nice gutter, but then it’ll get gentrified by those who don’t even need a gutter.

Knock it off Ockenden I’m on my summer break trying to find some sun amongst the horizontal rain on the west coast of Ireland. Don’t be willing winter on, I dread to imagine winter here if this is what their June is like. No wonder the Romans named the country Hibernia.

They made a profit and rewarded their employees. That is not a story. The other bank that cost the taxpayers 10 billion pounds that paid even more to its chief with only a thank you for bailing us out is more of a story to show that they are little piggies living piggy lives.

To which the comeback is “you’ve obviously never bitten into a cardamom pod”. Like an explosion in the mouth. It is too much flavour for the western palate to handle.

Me and you are definitely in the same boat on that. Keep holding people to account though, we need more of that.

The semantics comment was aimed @jacquesbriet.bsky.social as the context in this thread is about children in Gaza being starved and treated with inhumanity. His comment was attempting to deflect in an “all lives matter” style which is antagonistic at best.

No need for that. This is not about religion, it is about humans and the right to a decent life and to make their own choices. Self determination for Gazans should be protected as should their right to life, especially those who are too young or old to have any influence over what happens to them

Oh hang on. I think you may have misread “semantic argument” as meaning something else. Semantics is the study of meaning in language www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/s....
Semantics - Definition, Meaning & Synonyms
Semantics is the study of meaning in language. It can be applied to entire texts or to single words. For example, "destination" and "last stop" technically mean the same thing, but students of semanti...

I did not mention Judaism once. I mentioned a government. This is a political decision that that government made the conflation of political decisions with religion lives in your head not mine. Do not attempt to put the words you think you hear in my mouth.
May 22, 2025 at 11:25 AM
Not disagreeing with you but given the context her words should not be seen as an invitation to a semantic debate. The insane thing is that the Israel government has never checked themselves on this and a sitcom actor is the one to hold them to account.

I could waste hours reading these (and probably all the replies). Great work.

Beating Reform is not the goal. Providing a clear and principled vision of what our society can be is. Political leaders need to remember that the job is to serve the people not just beat the opposing parties.

Interesting to see the Daily Mail accuse Aimee Lou Wood of being attention seeking while creating a prime click bait headline. The hypocrisy is evident on so many levels.
