I’m still kind of mad about it but also it’s hilarious.

For like 10 years I was discouraged from bringing desserts to holiday functions because my mom’s husband’s elderly mother made a stink. Dessert was her thing, didn’t like having her thunder stolen. Okay, fine.
A few years ago I learned that all her desserts come FROM A BOX.

Not to mention no more community bonding over the evil implications of the local pool hall.
