Revisiting this paper (rdcu.be/eQ9Dh) where I argue that petrification processes are shaped by relationships in which materials become #entangled, challenging the assumption that stone is inherently ‘stable’ or ‘eternal’ by drawing on the concept of #emergent properties.

It was a pleasure to be back in Aspadrantes, #Algarve, this week to conduct further OSL sampling and digital documentation for the #MegalithicOrigins project. The heatwave was challenging but I could go to the beach in the evening ;-) Big thanks to Ricardo Soares and the Museu de Vila do Bispo!

Over the past two weeks we conducted fieldwork in the Algarve for our @leverhulme.ac.uk funded Megalithic Origins project. Collaborating with partners from the Museu de Vila do Bispo, we documented the Aspadrantes menhir, collected samples, and explored features. Great teamwork, cuisine, landscapes!

Only to days to go for joining this exciting seminar at the University of Valladolid. I am looking forward to discussing with students the broad range of possibilities offered by #digital visualization techniques in the study of #prehistoric sculpture.
