Delighted #BuildingInclusion has been recognised! @marsharamroop.bsky.social did a little dance to celebrate. Great citation too: "Clear, practical, deeply informed... It's thoughtful. It's relevant and accessible. And it's a valuable tool for professionals across the sector".

If we're to be better at sustainable development we must recognise this is not just about climate action, but biodiversity protection too. Also, we must stop throwing it to individuals to make change. The #BuiltEnvironment must fundamentally change its practices to reduce emissions & impact. #LREF25

Is it too early to take issue with the setting of the agenda at #LREF25?!
#InclusiveGrowth is an oxymoron, & #AI is in the hands of a powerful few... not setting us up for shared prosperity which would lead to better outcomes for people, place & planet.
We need to talk about SMEs... not yet heard.

Our world faces a crisis as yet unpercieved by those [with] great power to make great decisions for good or evil. The unleashed power of the atom has changed everything, save our modes of thinking. A new type of thinking is essential if [hu]mankind is to survive and [reach] higher levels. -Einstein

Fellow professionals have nominated me for this illustrious group. It is beyond humbling; I feel like an interloper!

So, for those who nominated me, thanks everso much.

Importantly, if you would like to see a change, I ask, don't just seek #inspiration, be the #transformation.

A reminder in the UK, the body of water between the English south coast & north France is called the 'English Channel', but 'La Manche' in France, because it looks like a sleeve.

I'd pay this less attention to 47s renaming & keep an eye on the reasons for him doing it.

Invited into the lion's den on BBC 5Live to talk about the rolling back on #DEI with Nicky Campbell this morning. Tried hammering home the idea that #inclusion is about behaviours and #culture strategy - not #identities. Faced Wendy Morton and Richard Tice and tried dispelling myths about targets.

Has anyone in #Architecture read the debut novel by the Booker Prize winner Samantha Harvey - The Wilderness?
I'm curious to know people's opinions of how the profession is represented.
It's about an #architect who has dementia, clutching at memories and fragments of his life as it slips away.
