Fun fact on the new Trump administration:
In 2013, Pam Bondi persuaded Florida Governor Rick Scott to postpone a scheduled execution because it conflicted with one of her reelection kickoff/fundraising events. After questions were raised in the media, Bondi apologized for moving the execution date.
