Crews are filling huge sandbags RIGHT NOW to move/block water from the roadway.
There is still no ETA to open highway lanes. Make a plan NOW ahead of your Monday commute.

US 2 is also closed from MP 57 at Scenic to MP 85 at Coles Corner, west of Leavenworth. There is no detour available. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

EB I-90 is closed between Winery Road (milepost 27) and 436th Avenue Southeast (milepost 32) because of a slide blocking the roadway. Two lanes of westbound I-90 are also blocked. Seek alternate routes.

Crews with the City of Spokane Valley discovered a gas leak last night at the intersection of SR 27/Pines Ave. and Mansfield Ave. They have located the leak and are working now to fix it, but it does require lane closures with flagging until further notice. Expect delays.
