It mildly protects the contacts, but more importantly during big shoots you can use them to indicate fresh/depleted status.

Once you add water to print developers, the clock starts ticking. Should get about 50 8x10" prints per Liter of working solution. If you need to stretch the solution to a full 8 hour day of printing, add some cellophane wrap to the tray before you step out for a lunch break.

Yep, SAS connection w/ 6TB native capacity and 15TB compressed. It's no where near the fastest, but perfect for cold backups.
