From a broken home, mature student, worked in 30 countries on 4 continents, married with grandchildren, read, write and take VERY long walks. God is nature. I am what I ingest. I treat others as I wish to be treated.
Interesting. Very, very few of the supporters of national socialism were held to account for their own actions never mind those of their leader. Their "get out of jail" card was the perceived greater threat to capitalism of totalitarianism.

Use language that your target audience understands that the arbiters might not.

Capitalists conveniently forget that a strong state infrastructure (everything from roads to broadband, education to utilities) gives a country the advantages to compete in business across the world. Other countries have understood this for decades.

I'm v surprised at the UK 's position in the table. From the media coverage atm, we're going to hell in a handbasket. Not my experience, travelling around the pubs in the country. Business as usual doesn't make headlines.

N Ireland's existence is historically based on the differences between Christian faiths. Without the anti-RC stance, it is difficult to justify its continuation, especially with the South's pivot away from RCism in recent decades. An absolute minefield.

I hope that the reporter was not a muslim as it is once of the worst insults of the faith. Maybe the POTUS was comparing the reporter to a beloved cast member of the Muppets? However, I doubt that he is sufficiently quick witted or generous.

It's made in black now for the redaction of printed documents. Big business in the Western Hemisphere.

Building on flood plains is contentious when only 12% of UK land is built on. It raises questions about the green belt and its fairness to the population overall.

They can report a flood without commenting that it is on a flood plain. They can report a contraction in the economy without hypothesing on the policies or events that caused it. The BBC has become a pulpit where people look for answers. It has no mandate for this. It is filling a gap.

A PBS reports essential and important information. The BBC not only reports, it investigates, interprets, and interrogates. It decides what is newsworthy and prioritises accordingly. It acts as moral judge tho' unqualified by example. And this is only one dimension.

The BBC has its fingers in too many pies not to have a target its back from capitalists to communists. In politics, it is a lazy substitute for democratic process, attempting to hold politicians to account, whilst the BBC itself is human and not perfect. It is a PBS that has run riot.
