Power likes passivity. We don’t tell children to give into the bully to make it stop, we tell them to stand up for themselves. This works on the macro level as well.
Not standing up for yourself gives them permission. Don’t ever give them permission.

For the people, doing nothing is the worst choice.
Sacrifices must be made to secure the future. This is a truth through all of our history. We have not risen above this in modern times, we have just ran from it.

If power releases a data dump, that is not accountability. It’s a lead. “Can’t verify” is where reporting starts, not where it stops.
