I think another big problem is the consolidation of dedicated online communities, away from independent forums and onto to Facebook Groups, Discord and Slack. I get that phpBB was out of fashion, but Discord sucks for browsing, searchability and as a historical record. Facebook groups are just shit

We've torn our house apart and redone just about everything, and I'm certain that every project the previous owner did ended with "Fuck it, that'll do". I guess we're doing the same thing, hopefully with better production values

yeah SIM survived, and thankfully Google Authenticator backs up these days, so it turns out it was a fairly painless experience, other than to the wallet
