Sick with a cold since Thursday. Grateful for grocery delivery (not that I don’t already used it most of the time haha), my sister bringing me meds, hot baths (something I couldn’t do living in an RV), and video games. Been really enjoying Stray!

My kid had been wanting to have her bestie over to make cake pops. Rainbow chip cake pops with sprinkles, gold leaf, and wafer butterflies.

Creamy pesto spaghetti with chicken and asparagus. One day I’ll make the pesto from scratch again!

Korean rice cakes (ttoekbokki) with gai lan, kimchi, and lobster fish balls (my first attempt in a long time, so it was a bit more soupy than saucy).

Cooking meals for myself has been difficult for the last two years, due to my mental and physical health. Haven’t been super active, and had a hard time again, but today, I’m sharing a thread of some food I made lately.

Came home from my neurologist appointment (a hard day), my cat Eva cuddled me, hugging my arm. 🥰

This is significant, as she’s only become a lap cat in the last 2 years, and I’ve had her for 11. She used to be quiet & stand-offish, but has become talkative & affectionate.

I love her so much. 💜
