I was just talking about this the other day; I’m currently in a class about gender and we talk about how when something is seen as feminine, men abandon it (generalization). Reading has become a “woman’s” hobby, therefore the boys don’t have an interest in reading 🙄

I wonder how much online conspiracy/qanon/unhinged bullshit is a result of men reading fewer and fewer books every year. Used to be these people would be stuck in an 800 page Tom Clancy novel, not bothering anyone. But now they don’t even do that anymore. They’re online talking to each other.
