A depressed friend told me that 'the Jews' are not fit to be part of a Good Society, as inherently selfish and in league together vs the common good.

He was feeling bad about himself, and projecting that onto imaginary outsiders. That was part of his depression...but the anti-semitism was his own.

When mine was 10 years old she could pick out the first eight or nine pairs with no hesitation. It was amazing. I was reduced to a supporting role to her fresh beautiful brainpower.

His social media is largely crowing about his poll ratings, plus juvenile sniping at other party leaders.

It’s seriously bad. Very little about housing, health, education or even the environment!

The weak point in the plan to incite UK civil war is that most British people can’t be bothered to answer the landline after 7pm, and won’t nip out for more teabags if it’s raining.

Should have typed it in 'Bluesky Irony' font, obvs.
January 14, 2026 at 9:19 PM
I agree.

And it is ludicrous to label your post with an 'intolerance' warning.

Hey Jeremy, are you going to address the uprising in Iran?

You don't seem to have mentioned it all on here?
January 12, 2026 at 2:43 PM
Hey Zack, are you going to address the uprising in Iran?

I am surprised you haven't mentioned it all, as far as I can see.

It was pretty violent and rogue-y even before Trump tbh.

eg invading Iraq in 2003.

Bloody people, eh? Always want something.
January 2, 2026 at 9:51 AM
Your sacrifice is appreciated.

And my point is that anti semitism - racism aimed at Jews - is the cause of anti semitic attacks, and always was.
December 23, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Anti semitism existed in murderous forms long before Israel existed.

A crowd tried to physically block people from entering the venue, set off the fire alarm and used loudhailers at the windows to try to drown out the speaker.

Your response is to belittle the woman speaker who rightly complained about this. Would you have responded in the same way if it was a man?
December 23, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Could you expand on that?

Answering my factual points?
December 23, 2025 at 5:27 PM
I thought we had got past blaming women for ‘bringing it on themselves’?
That is all you are doing here.
December 23, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Your attitude is just blaming the victim - I thought we had learned not to do that?
December 23, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Would you be so flippantly dismissive if the same shouting down tactics were used on a meeting you approved of?
December 23, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Well, no, she specifically says that people are welcome to demonstrate their dislike of her views.

She says rightly that a crowd trying to deny people entry, setting off the fire alarm & make the speaker inaudible by using loudhailers at the windows of the venue is not on. Why would you support it?

...admittedly, earnings took a big years-long dip after 2008, so workers missed out on total earnings over the period of the chart in a way that pensioners didn't.
December 15, 2025 at 12:13 PM
Does that show that single pensioners' incomes have barely increased in real terms since 2010?

And earnings have hardly been stellar but have increased by a little more than single pensioner incomes since 2010?

Yours earnestly, a single pensioner...

Turned out to be several wrong ‘quotes’, with missing key words, and separate paragraphs from different contexts spliced together as if one original single paragraph.

If nothing else this is very odd and needs explanation, not just a ‘correction certificate’ as if these were spelling mistakes.

"on remand - without trial or conviction."

Yes, Zack, they are on remand pending trial.

…because trans advocates relied on censorship and blacklisting instead of making their own valid arguments.

Yes, New Twitter is horrific, but Old Twitter denied liberal ideas of debate/argument - and repelled enough folk to tip public opinion into weariness with being told ‘you can’t think that!’.
December 5, 2025 at 6:47 PM
Old Twitter imposed ‘professional risks’,aka trying to get people sacked if they queried the medical risks of puberty blockers, or suggested that. women were entitled to their own sports or women-only rape crisis provision (alongside trans services)

Trans rights suffered in that ‘no debate’ period/
