Tags are also super useful for finding places in the GDDs that aren't set in stone. I use a # TBD tag whenever something is not decided yet, which really helps in quickly finding things that need refinement / shouldn't be considered gospel #codecks @codecks.bsky.social #indiedev

I've been using the wonderful Codecks @codecks.bsky.social for task tracking for a while now and have recently started using it for all my GDDs as well. I really like this workflow especially when using tags, allowing to quickly get an overview over systems and how they interact! #gamedev #indiedev

(19/x) So I'm not playing back the originally recorded soundscape at all (which itself might have been blended with granular synth modules or other heavy effects), instead randomly generated depictions of it. The below chart shows the flow of this system and how all sounds in the scene get combined:
