Highlight of this year’s Open Day was probably the Q&A with Koen Lenaerts, the president of the Court, in the grand meeting hall. Getting a sense of the mechanisms at work in one of the key institutions of the #EU.

Seeing the rooms and facilities within which European law is being made (mostly concerning the issue of conformity of national regulations with European jurisdiction) is really informative. Pity there was no extra session on the history of the built environment of the Court on #PlateauKirchberg 🇱🇺

So often been passing by the impressive buildings of the #EuropeanCourtofJustice —thanks to the 2025 Open Day, we got insight from inside … for the first time. Very interesting.

Cars—or rather, their drivers—tend to go wherever they can. When municipalities want to protect sidewalks and avoid this, such measures seem necessary. However, they don't qualify for the 'City Beautiful'-award. (Sanem, Belval, 🇱🇺).
