I selfishly hope this not to be the case

It’s literally the way we determine whether someone has violated the law. Like that’s the whole point.

Oh. That’s weird.

This one hurts in a way the last few years didn’t. Love this team and not about to stop but this game left a sour taste in my mouth. It went pretty much as everyone thought it would, which is exactly the problem.

Thanks man. Wish things had gone better. This one hurts in a way the previous five years didn’t.

Honestly sports is one area where Bluesky has grown massively the last few months. A lot of great and well known national journalists regularly post here now. Also, I can’t speak for other fanbases but for my Buffalo teams there is absolutely a critical mass of fans and local journalists on here now

Yeah this may be the explanation for me as well.

That’s odd- I’ve genuinely never gotten that here but the volume of shady DM spam I got at Xitter (including of this sort) was significant until I locked my account there.

So happy to hear this. Having read you nearly 20 years I would never deign to ask your comments on anything - I know it will always be worthwhile. Especially happy you’ll try to import Patrick’s work. I hope somewhere he’s looking down on us and sees how much he is still missed.

Definitely a possibility. Of course the opposite could also be true and TX suburbs could be the outlier. Anyone’s guess right now.

FWIW, political signs in my swingy neighborhood in suburban TX are running about 6 or 7:1 in favor of Harris/Allred. 2020 vote was 55-45 for Biden, and 2016 was 50-40 for Trump. How that translates into votes this year I have no idea. But an interesting data point.
