I've played around with it some. Loaded Mint on my everyday PC using Hyper V. Also, 10 years ago, I built a very underpowered $200 box and loaded Ubuntu--this wasn't much fun as the box was so lousy. That now sits in the basement unused.
I guess I'm no radical/rebel. I'll stick with Windows.

BTW, I'm an old timer. I worked at an office using Unix in the late 80's before there were good GUIs with desktop icons. Back in the cat and grep days with vi editors & crazy characters to control the printer for equation formatting. It was hard for many.

Are files seamlessly compatible between users if you want to share files? No glitches? My experience with this is that it needs to be seamless and goof-proof to keep everybody happy. Needs to work easily for high-school educated secretaries, not just super smart scientists like Moreno.

While most birds seem to be thriving, I've not seen one of these in a long while. I hope they are doing well and it's just me not looking in the right places.

Our cities can be dangerous in the US, with homicide rates 10x the 5.9 average. If you go to a finer detail and look at individual neighborhoods, the Fuller Park neighborhood in Chicago had a homicide rate of 195 per 100,000. This is almost 100% black on black crime. It's a mess.
