I read the news today, oh boy
Indeed he was, with his multimillion pound donations from fossil fuel deniers and tax dodgers.

Our hundreds of elected Greens improve lives and help people every day. Not one elected Green I know has sacrificed their principles for power. To suggest that the party is currently unelectable/ineffectual is dishonest, and disrespects the work of thousands of committed Greens over decades.

It’s really simple. You can’t change ANYTHING if you don’t win elections. Team 1: former councillors, former MEP, sitting MPs, co-author of Target to Win, an architect of the staff field team. In 4 years doubled our councillors, quadrupled our MPs. Proven success. Team 2: never won a FPTP election.

False equivalence. She wasn’t standing. We can only deal with the options in front of us.

Sadly not. He has no political clout. We have leaders who can ask questions in Parliament, bring motions, vote on national legislation. That generates huge media options. Zack will be outside, utterly powerless, ineffectual.

Great. He can continue to support the leadership team from his deputy position. Let him play to his strengths.

If that were even true, it would still add up to the same media time as a sole leader, literally no worse off. But the reality is that with co leaders we get twice the work, twice the exposure, in Parliament, asking big questions at the big table.

Ellie and Adrian overturned huge Conservative majorities to win their seats by knocking tens of thousands of doors. They have also turned up to help tonnes of Green councillors win seats. They know how to actually win better than anyone.
